How to Search for a Project

Updated over 4 months ago

Step 1: Start from the Dashboard

From the Dashboard, enter a keyword in the search bar: this could be the name of the project, the type of project, or even descriptors of the project you are looking for.

  • To search for exact terms, enclose them in "quotation marks".

  • Separate multiple keywords with a space to find projects featuring ALL keywords.

  • Separate multiple keywords with a comma to find projects featuring ANY keywords.

You can click Search immediately, or refine your results using filters.

Step 2: Apply Search Filters

To get more accurate results, use the following filters:

  • Location: Select a specific region. Available locations depend on your subscription.

  • Sectors: Search broadly across the category by checking the box next to your sector of choice. Or, click the arrow next to a particular sector to select individual subcategories.

  • Status: Include or exclude projects based on their status. These include: Tender Called, Tender Closed, Main Contract Awarded, Construction, Deferred/Abandoned.

  • Project Value: Select one of the preset monetary ranges, or set your own by clicking Custom.

Step 3: Review the Results

You'll now see a list of matching projects within your subscription.

Each result shows:

  • Project Name

  • Location

  • Status

  • Value

  • Last Update

Step 4: Sort Your Search Results

By default, results are sorted by Relevance when using a keyword. You can change the sort order.

Click the Sort By icon (three bars in the top-left-hand corner), and choose between Last Updated or Project Value.

Step 5: Refine Your Search

Click Filters in the top-left corner to edit your search from the search results page.

Bonus: Map View

You can also toggle your search results between the default table view and an option that enables you to view your search results on a map. You can still easily click through to projects by clicking on a pin, and then on the project name.

You can also update the project tracker status via the buttons on the project card in this view.
